Born Matthew Looker Provenza-- Matt was born to a lower-middle class family in the suburbs of Detroit in 1994. After acting in musical productions at his Lutheran elementary and middle school, Matt went on to take acting classes, and perform in the spring plays at Farmington High School in Farmington, MI, where he spent his adolescent years. In 2012, he began to study acting full-time at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance Drama Department in Ann Arbor. From 2012-2016, Matt also attended rigorous actor training programs at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco as well as the Stella Adler Conservatory in New York City. Matt often claims that it was at Stella Adler that he truly fell in love with the craft. After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2016, moved to New York City to pursue his dream of acting. Show less «
