Matt grew up in Pasadena, CA. He attended the L.A. County High School for the ARTS. Meanwhile, he spent time at the Magic Castle, Hollywood, with his magician father (aka - Mr. Magic). The remainder of the time was spent rock climbing, river rafting and hanging out with skydivers and base jumpers. Matt attended Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey's Clown College under the guidance of his uncle, Jon Weiss, who's known for being shot out of the cannon and his role on the Amazing race. Matt graduated from Stephens College for Women as one of twelve male apprentices. He is a founding member of The Living Room Theatre and Fishtank Performance Studio in Kansas City, MO.
