Born in Washington D.C. and a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice, Marcus Nel-Jamal Hamm emerged onto the entertainment scene through the back breaking and body slamming world of Professional Wrestling under the moniker of Marcus Jordan having performed both independently and nationally as a multi-title holding main event performer. Following several years of tenure, Marcus transitioned over towards acting and his career launched almost instantly beginning with a feature role on two of the final episodes of "The Wire".
