Marcel Mendoza is a singer-songwriter, actor originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. He moved to Atlanta, Ga when he was 5 years old. He is of Cajun, Costa Rican, Cuban and Puerto Rican descent. He is currently a student at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles. There, he is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Performing Arts. At a young age Mendoza showed passion for the arts and became a rising star in local community theatre. Mendoza wrote and recorded his first international R&B/Pop/EDM song at the age of 16, "Impossible," a collaboration with Portuguese DJ Duo Club Banditz. The song was released by AfterCluv/Universal Music. He continues to record music in both English and Spanish. In 2021 Marcel Mendoza was cast as "Teenage Rio" in the hit NBC series "Good Girls."
