Marcel Mendoza is a singer-songwriter, actor originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. He moved to Atlanta, Ga when he was 5 years old. He is of Cajun, Costa Rican, Cuban and Puerto Rican descent. He is currently a student at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles. There, he is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Performing Arts. At a young age Mendoza showed passion for the arts and became a rising star in local community theatre. Mendoza wrote and recorded his first international R&B/Pop/EDM song at the age of 16, "Impossible," a collaboration with Portuguese DJ Duo Club Banditz. The song was released by AfterCluv/Universal Music. He continues to record music in both English and Spanish. In 2021 Marcel Mendoza was cast as "Teenage Rio" in the hit NBC series "Good Girls." He is represented by Tassell Talent Group and J Pervis Talent Agency.
