Mandy's career choice of acting was easy as she recognized from a young age she had the power of imagination and a mature ability to create and express her thoughts and ideas in performance. This desire to perform led the way to her success. High school brought recognition in theatre playing various characters from quirky to funny to dramatic. These experiences led her to writing a two person comedy piece in which she starred and performed at a professional theatre in Vancouver, BC.Mandy continued her career goals by training with well-recognized acting coaches in Vancouver for and film and television. She recently graduated from a full-time Professional Master Acting program providing her with advanced and current techniques. Mandy is using all of her experiences and learned skills in her pursuit of dreams to reality.Signing with agent Lissa Lloyd of Lloyd Talent, led to the next level in her career resulting in solid acting opportunities. Mandy's most recent television booking is on the series "Supernatural" produced by Warner Bros. in which Mandy performs a Guest Starring role of "Lizzie" in the episode titled "Family Remains". This role required unique skills, instincts and professionalism leading to a notable career highlight of a nomination for the acclaimed "Leo Awards" as Best Female Guest Star Performance in a Television Series". Mandy has recently completed a very moving performance in the feature film "Confined". She played a complicated character role requiring a great deal of emotional depth. Her performance draws compassion, anticipation and thought from the viewing audience. Through word of mouth from a Vancouver casting director, Mandy was able to audition for the role of "Stella," for the feature film "Vampire." The director for the project had auditioned a lot of people before asking for suggestions from the Vancouver casting director, whom suggested he take a look at Mandy's "Confined" audition. Soon after that, the role was hers.Mandy moves forward in her career of choice as a professional actor and continues to refine her skills with activities which include script writing, story telling, character developments, and scene study.
