Mandi was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on May 4, 1989. She is most known for her performances in Bruce McCulloch's "Young Drunk Punk", "The Alberta Way" (AUPE) regional commercial, Government of Manitoba's "Family Doctor Finder" regional commercial, MindFuel's Grade 7 "Ignition Pack" in which she was the host, and "My Life Is a Musical", a short musical film which won Best Student Production at the 2014 Alberta Film and Television Awards.
