Luke Johnson is a Network Executive who oversees both scripted and unscripted series from development through post-production. In tandem with the BBC his scripted work includes Malory Towers (2020) and the upcoming series A Kind of Spark (2023). He has produced hundreds of hours of television for TLC, History Channel, Discovery Channel, HGTV, Oxygen, and more.In 2006, Luke created one of the first viral videos on YouTube called "The Luke Johnson Phone Experiment", where he invited the whole world to call his cell phone. This led to perpetual calls from around the globe, worldwide media attention, and spokesperson offers from wireless providers.Luke has a younger brother named David who has Down syndrome. At the start of Luke's career in entertainment he promised David that he would help him become a movie star.
