Luciano Saber writes, directs and produces feature films and TV shows and is a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA), Directors Guild of America (DGA), the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA). He won film festival awards for screen-writing and producing and is heavily involved in the day-to-day physical production of his projects. He sold film and television projects to studios and networks and worked with producers and fellow screenwriters from concept to final draft. He gave back to the film community by serving as a screen-writing instructor at UCLA Extension and produced over 40, new media, episodes to help aspiring artists, entitled "Aspiring Hollywood." He's also a published author, "A Story of Courage," sold at Barnes & Noble. Luciano started his career in the entertainment industry as an actor in Chicago's famous theater district. He portrayed a suppressed Albanian director in the award winning play "Sing For Me Naxia." The production won Chicago's best directorial award. "Placebo Effect," a feature film, in which Luciano starred, wrote and produced, won Best Feature, Best Original Screenplay and Best Cinematography at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. He also won the Award of Merit from the Accolade Competition for "Edge of Salvation." He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College, served as an undercover agent and police officer and attended two police academies.
