Louise "Wish" Foley-Cohen's mother, Helen Foley, took her to acting interviews as a child and acted as her guardian on all jobs. Her mother was the farthest from a 'stage mom'. She began her acting career by doing a Mattel commercial for "Barbie Beach Bus" in 1970. She was the original "Joanie" on the pilot for the series "Happy Days" with Ron Howard, Tom Bosley, and Marion Ross. At the age of 21 she played Alice in Wonderland in the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers music video "Don't Come Around Here No More" (1985). The video was nominated for: Best Video of the Year, Best Direction (Jeff Stein), Best Concept Video, and Best Special Effects at the 1985 MTV Music Awards. The video did not win the Video of the Year award but won the MTV Viewers Choice for number one video of the year. She did a second music video for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, "Forget About Me" (Also from Tom Petty's "Southern Accents" album, but it did not do as well as the first. Louise, known by the nickname "Wish", still does local theater. She now resides in Rio Rancho, New Mexico with her husband and four children. Show less «
