In 2014, Logan obtained his M.F.A. from the American Film Institute in Film Directing. He is a 2015 recipient of the American Film Institute's Franklin J. Schaffner Fellow Award. His first feature film, LIVE CARGO, stars Dree Hemingway, Keith Stanfield and Robert Wisdom. LIVE CARGO took part in the U.S. in Progress Paris section of the Champs-Élysées Film Festival. LIVE CARGO was one of 10 feature films selected by IFP, to their 11th annual Independent Filmmaker Lab of 2015. The film had it's World Premiere at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival in the U.S. Narrative Competition.Logan's graduate thesis film, TRACKS starring Independent Spirit Award nominee Keith Stanfield (SHORT TERM 12, SELMA, STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON) screened at AFI's Directors Guild of America showcase. It was selected for the Cambridge Film Festival (UK), AFI FEST, Miami International Film Festival, Marfa Film Festival, the Rome International Film Festival, Minneapolis St. Paul Film Festival, 24 FPS International Film Festival and the Indie Memphis Film Festival. The film recently won the Lexus Audience Award for Best Short film at the Miami International Film Festival.In 2011, Logan graduated with honors from Loyola Marymount University's School of Film and Television with a BA in Film Production. ALL IT WILL EVER BE, Logan's undergraduate thesis short film, screened in competition at the 16th Annual Bermuda International Film Festival, and was screened at the Film Anthology Archives in New York City. The film was also a finalist at the 34th Annual National Short Film & Video Competition at the USA Film Festival in Dallas.His second feature film is in the script writing stages.
