Lisa was born and raised in San Luis Obispo, California. She grew up a tomboy; hunting, fishing, riding horses, and raising and showing sheep at the county fair. A childhood dream to become an actress was put on hold until after college classes, world travel, marriage, and beginning a family. Her first acting role at 29 years old as Mrs. McCarthy in "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" was the catalyst needed to grow her passion for acting. Lisa honed her craft while working on dozens of stage projects over the years. When her daughters got involved in TV commercials, Lisa joined them and started building her professional resume.
