Lisa Quijano Wolfinger has written, produced, directed and supervised a variety of films and television programs. She is the co-creator and executive producer for PBS' original drama Mercy Street. The series is PBS' first foray into original drama in a decade. Set in 1862 in the Mansion House Hospital in Union-occupied Alexandria, Virginia, the show is focused on the professional and personal trials and tribulations of the staff.As co-owner of Lone Wolf Media, Lisa is involved in the management of the company, program development and overall supervision of all current projects. She has worked in a wide range of genres, including historical drama, high-end documentaries and reality. Notable work includes the critically acclaimed 3-hour docu-drama special for History, Desperate Crossing, the Untold Story of the Mayflower, nominated for 2 prime time Emmy awards. The 2-hour special, Fire on the Mountain was nominated for a News and Documentary Emmy and awarded the CINE Masters Series award. The 90-minute Salem Witch docu-drama, titled Witch Hunt was nominated for a News and Documentary Emmy, and the docu-drama mini-series, Conquest of America was nominated for a Primetime Emmy and won a Gold medal at the New York Festival.Outside of Lone Wolf, Lisa also works as a director for hire. She was the series director and senior producer for a 10 part drama series about the Revolutionary War titled, Forged in Fire for Discovery and Brook Lapping Productions.
