Since the age of 10 Hooper has been making films; starting on his camera phone and gradually progressing through various video cameras. By thirteen he had produced a 20 minute horror film starring his friends and teachers. A year later he started work on his feature film début Darkwood Manor. After completing his GCSEs at Dorothy Stringer High School, Brighton, Hooper was accepted into the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology to do a two year media course where he has created various short films and explored a wide range of genres.
