Leo Hatton was born in London, England. She received classical training for two years under Christopher Fettes and Giles Foreman.As a child she performed at the Commonwealth Institute for the West London School of Ballet. She went on to join local theatre youth groups in London and in 2009 was cast in Punchdrunk Theatre and the BBC's It Felt Like A Kiss for the Manchester International Festival. Prior to her training, Leo worked in the Art Department for Punchdrunk Theatre Company across four years.She was also awarded a First Class Degree in Fine Art and History of Art from Goldsmiths College, London.
