Leilani A. Arenzana graduated with her Master of Fine Arts Degree, Motion Pictures and Television with the emphasis in Directing at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. in 2015. She owns Heavenly Eyes Productions, Inc., a film/video/digital production company since 1998. She is an entrepreneur, producer/director, production designer, writer, educator and a mentor to aspiring performers and young filmmakers. She has been involved in major films and television worldwide including "Matrix Reloaded", "Nash Bridges" and recent movies such as "San Andreas", "Ant-Man (2015)", Hulu TV Show "Chance" to name a few.Leilani works as an Acting Director for E.S.O.M.A. (Evergreen Studio of Music & The Arts) in San Jose, CA. In addition to her zeal in filmmaking she also has a passion for performing arts and theatre. Since October 2013, she has directed for NorCal Academy of Performing Arts a total of 8 licensed musical plays including Disney's *Alice in Wonderland*, *Little Mermaid*, *The Wizard of OZ*, *Aladdin*, Annie, Grease, Elf and the latest musical *Beauty and The Beast*, which was shown in public in October 2016 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California. She contributes her time and skills especially to children and young adults in the form of arts, that is why she is involved directing musical plays.In addition to her Master's Degree, her educational background also includes Pre-Med and Law. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. She worked in Fortune 500 companies as a Computer Network Engineer/Computer Programmer for over 7 years before her major leap to the motion picture industry. She is a Member of American Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and also a SAG - AFTRA Member since 1996. She was one of the Jurors for the Narrative Features for Cinequest Film Festival in 2010.Her latest movie, "Deeper Allure" which she filmed around the Bay Area, CA. was selected and screened at the prestigious Regal Cinemas in Los Angeles by the "Woman Up Independent Film Festival" during the first week of November of 2015. She co-wrote, produced and directed another movie, "The Last Nightmare", a full length -- fantasy/horror genre was featured in Terror Film Festival 2014 in Philadelphia which was voted one of the Best 5 films of 2014. The same movie of hers was also nominated for 6 categories including Best Cinematography and Best Editing. Deeper Allure is extended to a full feature of 90 minutes in which title has been changed to "Nika" and completed in 2017.Leilani is affiliated with a number of entertainment production companies throughout the country and internationally. She has written, produced and directed numbers of documentaries, commercials, public service announcements, corporate videos and music videos. She continues to make movies and has recently finished short films "Hong Kong Bistro", "On My Special Day", "Happy Anniversary", "Seijin Shiki", "A Groom, Three Brides and a Doctor" and "The Exotic Dancer". Her future plans includes filming movies international in addition to directing a couple of musical plays for N.A.P.A. in 2017.Leilani's family and friends, her education, professional experience, creativity, family values, cultural background, devotion to her work and passion for life brought her great success and happiness.
