Leah Ficarola is a southern California native. She started off as a classical ballet dancer studying with the San Francisco Ballet and the Pacific Northwest Ballet school and soon after moved to NYC to dance with the contemporary ballet company Eliot Felds' Ballet Tech. While in NYC Broadway called and from there she went on tour with the national tour of Saturday Night Fever as one of the featured dance couples. After Saturday Night Fever her next dance move was a leap over to Los Angeles. Upon her arrival she was cast in the "edgy" version of LA Opera's Tanhueser but it wasn't until she met "The Man in the Black Hat", Toledo Diamond, that she found her true calling. It was through dancing in the Toledo Show that her love for burlesque and cabaret grew. Since then she's been dancing with numerous burlesque and cabaret shows all over Los Angeles as well as gracing the stages with live rock bands. Leah has shaken her stuff onstage live with Van Halen for their press release show for their "Different Kind of Truth" tour, and has even put her pointe shoes back on for The Used "Hands and Faces" music video. Leah is the artistic director and founder of the Los Angeles based neo burlesque troupe the Bella-Donnas. Show less «
