Lauren Lane has collaborated with some of the county's leading theatre artists, among them: Oskar Eustis, Tim Robbins, Lisa Peterson, Ellen McLaughlin, Bob Krakower, Steven Dietz and Dave Steakley. She starred in three television series: The Nanny, L.A. Law, and Hunter. She has won numerous awards for her work as an actor including an LA Critics Award, an Austin Critics Circle Award and multiple B. Iden Payne Awards. She has worked at major regional theatres across the country including: The Kennedy Center, Berkley Repertory Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, The American Conservatory Theatre and The Mark Taper Forum. She has taught at The American Conservatory Theatre, The University of Texas, Carnegie Mellon University and as Head of Acting at Texas State University where she was awarded the Texas State President's Award for excellence in teaching. Lauren graduated from the MFA program at The American Conservatory Theatre. Her most important job is being mom to Kate.
