America first saw Lauren take the stage on Season 3 of FOX Network's hit reality series So You Think You Can Dance (2005). Her love for dance and undeniable gift landed her a spot in the final six contestants. Once the season was over, the producers could not bare to have Lauren leave and quickly found a way for her return. Along with assisting the biggest choreographers attached to the show such as Tyce Diorio, Napoleon and Tabitha, and Mia Michaels during seasons 4, 5, and 6, Lauren was also chosen to travel on the Season 5 audition tour as the highlighted choreographer for the "Choreography round." Lauren's consistency, love for the stage, and passion for mentoring others made her an obvious choice to return as an All-Star for seasons 7,8, and 9. This opportunity was a huge milestone at the beginning of her career as a professional dancer/choreographer.Between seasons on the show, Lauren has continued leaving her mark in the industry performing with artist such as Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Shakira, Sean Kingston, Carrie Underwood, Willow Smith, and Enrique Iglesias. She has made her way onto the big screen appearing in movies such as Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009), Disaster Movie (2008), and Bring It On: Fight to the Finish (2009). She was honored to become a private dance coach to some of the biggest celebrities in the business such as Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and Tobey Maguire. She became a featured dancer on the award-winning musical comedy, Glee (2009) in the hit rival crew "Vocal Adrenaine". But it wasn't until Jennifer Love Hewitt gave Lauren her first shot at acting on her show Ghost Whisperer (2005) that she found her new passion.Lauren made a seamless transition into acting as she Guest Starred on ABC Family's Make It or Break It (2009) and CBS series, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000). Each role she found herself falling more in love with acting. Continuing her stride, Lauren starred in Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked (2011) in an epic dance battle against the Chipetes as well as the CGI for the character, "Alvin."Lauren's fearlessness and dedication to stepping outside her comfort zone to continue her growth as an artist was soon tested when she joined the case as the lead female in India's highly anticipated, first ever, 3D dance film, ABCD (Any Body Can Dance) (2013) (popularly known as ABCD) releasing worldwide in February 2013. Lauren spent 3 months learning Hindi, Bollywood techniques, and filming in Mumbai alongside Indian film stars Prabhudheva, Kay Kay Menon, and Ganesh Acharya as well as stars from their hit dance show "Dance India Dance", Salman Yusuff Khan and Dharmesh Yelande. Director Remo D'Souza was a fan of Lauren's when she was on So You Think You Can Dance (2005) and said he knew he would one day bring her to Bollywood.
