Lauren Maria Carlini is an Actor and Dancer, born and raised in Ontario, Canada. She is the eldest of 4 children and is very proud of her Italian heritage which has shaped her fun-loving and passionate character. Her compassion for others stems from the love she has for her twin brother who was born with a rare brain tumor and autistic tendencies.Lauren began acting at the age of 8 in her local community theatre and has been in several productions including The Addams Family, Cats, Les Miserables, and most recently, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. She began dancing at the age of 3 and is well versed in all genres. The discipline and perseverance she's gained through her years of dance training have helped her to build a strong work ethic which she brings to each film project she is blessed to work on.Lauren's first film audition was in January 2017 where she was cast with a lead role. It was an experience she will always cherish as it also paved the way for castings in several other short films, TV Series and 2 feature films, all within less than a year's time. She's been often told that "her positive spirit and energy are contagious and she is a joy to work with." It is her lifelong goal to use her God given gifts to inspire and bring hope and joy to her audience.Lauren is a graduate of AMTC (Actors, Models, Talent for Christ) and is working on a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Science in Dance at Wayne State University in Michigan. She is an honor roll student and was chosen to be a Wayne State Ambassador for Canadian students. She is also a proud member of WSU's African Dance Company, To Sangana. Lauren continues to encourage underprivileged children and those with exceptionalities to believe in their dreams through her Non-For-Profit Organization - Dance to Inspire.
