She then continued her globe-trotting studies at the renowned Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland and Queen's University Belfast, Northern Ireland before getting a BA in Theatre Performance from the University of Pittsburgh. While these gave her a well-rounded acting background, her favorite classes were those on stage combat, both armed and unarmed. She also has an extensive background in improv, training not only with these schools but also with Groundlings, ComedySportz, and the Cat Venom Improv troupe. She never stops learning and still continues her studies with various acting schools in L.A.Since moving to Los Angeles in 2013, Laura has appeared in several films and TV shows, where she is frequently cast as the villain, as well as several commercials, where she is usually playing the wholesome young mom.
