After a life threatening hospitalization in July, 2011 from an unforeseen development of Juvenile (Type I) Diabetes, Latisha decided that life was too short to not live for her true passions: The Arts and humanity.Latisha recently booked her first professional SAG/ AFTRA role on a premium cable TV series and she is excited to share more information about the character and the series at a future date. She has had the opportunity to train at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, Upright Citizens Brigade and with Jeffrey Zeiner at The Jeffrey Zeiner Studio. Latisha also writes original music, creates musical parodies and writes sketches with friends. She hopes that the upcoming years will bring her more opportunities to learn and grow as an actor and entertainer. She also hopes that the next few years will provide her more opportunities to perform professionally.Latisha's favorite entertainer and biggest career inspiration is Queen Latifah, however, she is inspired by the work of many other actors and entertainers. Latisha is excited to be embarking on this incredible journey in the arts and entertainment world.
