Laëtitia EÏDO is a French actress from a mixed background, who can play characters from different ethnicities in several languages. She is starring with a main part in the very successful tv-series "Fauda" - aired worldwide on NETFLIX since December 2016 - which tackles the clichés about the Israel/Palestine conflict. And she will soon be seen on the big screen with a female lead in "Holy Air" feature film by Sh.Srour, at TRIBECA Film Festival in New-York.Her recent work includes the feature film "A borrowed identity" by Eran RIKLIS ("Lemon tree"), and "Yes I do" French tv-series by E.Blayau for Studio+, the new CANAL+ digital label. She is back on stage in 2017 with the theatrical adaptation of "The 4th wall", a novel by Sorj Chalandon (GONCOURT Lycéens award 2013) directed by A.Stéphan, at Britany National Theatre (TNB - Rennes).First trained in classical acting techniques in Paris, she attended workshops with Peter BROOK or Jacques LECOQ theatre companies. She then favoured S.MEISNER acting technique, in Paris and New-York. She made her debuts on stage, with various significant parts including "Andromaque", in Racine's Greek tragedy or "Eglé" in Marivaux's French classic "The Dispute". Her career on screen notably started with the role of Cleopatra in the docu-drama "The destiny of Rome" (BEST AUDIENCE, ARTE channel); she was then an Indian super-hero in "Hero Corp" successful Tv-Series, by S.Astier; and was the lead in "Limply, a Saturday morning", short film by S.Djama (BEST FIRST FICTION, Clermont-Ferrand Film Fest). Her "ambiguous ethnicity" opened horizons for her in England and in the US, with the action tv-series "Strike Back" (Cinemax/HBO); and the movie "The land of nothing" by A.Kouider, with the "Maharishi University Master in Films" run by David LYNCH.Laëtitia has been awarded in 2016 with the BEST ACTRESS award at the "Views of the world" Festival in Montréal and at "Fespaco" Film Festival, for her lead part in "Fadhma n'Soumer" historical feature film by B.Hadjadj. She was a BERLINALE TALENTS Alumna in 2015. And a JURY MEMBER in prestigious film festivals (Jerusalem, Oran or Cannes for the special "Queer Palm" award).She is represented in PARIS by Time Art, Elizabeth Tanner's agency and in LONDON by KP Management.
