Kurt Sanchez Kanazawa is an actor, audiobook producer, and screenwriter living in Los Angeles. Previously, he worked for three years in Italy, where he began his acting career on RAI 1's "Provaci ancora Prof! 7," a popular soap opera in Rome. A graduate of The Juilliard School in Vocal Arts (Graduate Diploma), Kurt's opera singing has taken him around the world from China to Argentina to France to New York City, and his performances have been hailed in The New York Times, The Scotsman, and Opera News. He also holds a BA in Visual Arts from Columbia University and a Certificate in Acting for the Camera from U.C.L.A.'s TFT. He is of both Japanese and Filipino descent, and fluently speaks Japanese, French, and Italian, as well as working experience in Mandarin, Russian, German, and Hawaiian. He is the grandson of Shimeji Kanazawa, known as "The Florence Nightingale of Hawaii" for her work during WWII, and honored by the American Red Cross, as well as national committee appointments by President's Regan, Carter, and Clinton, respectively.
