Konstantina Mantelos is a Toronto-based actress. A life-long movie lover she discovered at a young age the profound power of film to shape our perception of the world around us. She trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts NY, and attained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours, Dean's List) in Acting at Ryerson University. She also received a certificate from the Scottish Universities International Summer School for Contemporary Theatre and Performance. Konstantina continues her training now, gaining a deeper understanding of acting for the screen through Armstrong Acting Studios. Since beginning her career she has worked in a number of film, television, and theatre productions.She is also a writer and producer with the film production company, Spinning Top Pictures, which she co-founded with partner Douglas Gibbens. The company aims to create enriching and emotionally fulfilling narratives, and for Konstantina, it is a venue through which she can tell unique stories of complex, multi-faceted women on-screen.
