Khiyla Aynne is a 12-year-old Canadian-born actress whose first on screen appearance came when she performed as a Featured Guest on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in 2017. In 2019 she was invited back to Warner Brothers Studios as one of Ellen's Little Helpers for her 12 Days of Giveaways.Khiyla landed her first film role as Sherry the Time Elf in the Gaumont production of "48 Christmas Wishes". Shortly after she was cast as Trish in the Netflix Original Series "Ponysitters Club" which ran for two seasons and included a spin off feature film "Ponysitters Club: Fun at the Fair". Khiyla showcased her love of music while singing, dancing and playing the ukulele for Wow Media in the Pilot of "Ukulele U". As Host, Khiyla taught Family Channel viewers how to make Cheesy inspired recipes on "Cheesy's Magic Kitchen" and was featured as a Z-Head Correspondent on "YTV's The Zone". In her darkest role to date she can be seen as Young Kaira in the film "Kaira" about a woman's journey of self-discovery and acceptance after dealing with suppressed trauma. In addition, Khiyla was cast in the Netflix dance feature film "Work It" produced by Alicia Keys.One of Khiyla's most memorable moments to date was performing with Justin Bieber during his song "Children" at the Scotiabank Arena for the "Purpose World Tour". Khiyla is no stranger to performing for large crowds. During the Toronto Maple Leafs "Next Generation" hockey game she was a Live In Arena Host for a crowd of 20,000 people.Khiyla has appeared in numerous national television commercials for major brands including (but not limited to) Crayola, Hatchimals, Cool Maker, Spin Master, Oculus Go, Triangle by Canadian Tire and Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Costa Rica.She is an avid traveler and has been fortunate to visit Chile, Costa Rica and California to film. With a strong sense of compassion Khiyla enjoys giving back to her community. She regularly volunteers her time to read to various types of animals as part of a reading program at her local animal shelter. Khiyla also helped in leading approximately 3000 participants through a warm up stretch for the Opening Ceremony of the "Great Camp Adventure Walk" to benefit The Hospital for Sick Children.Khiyla aspires to continue her passion to perform and grow as an actress and dancer through various training programs and workshops. Her love of animals has guided her plans to pursue a career as a Veterinarian.
