One of the founders of the Hanlon-Lees Action Theater (the company which pioneered the theatrical form of medieval jousting), Kent is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts. He has worked steadily as an actor, stuntman, wrangler, and fight choreographer for many film, television, and stage productions (including both on- and off-Broadway). In between such jobs, Kent continues to appear as a performer, director, and choreographer at various Renaissance Festivals and Wild West Shows across the United States.
