Kenneth Stevenson often recalls watching family slideshows, Spielberg's E.T. The Extraterrestrial, and Syfy epics as a boy. This coupled with his family's involvement in IAPPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) and their entertainment franchise Puzzle's Fun Dome was the catalyst for his desire to enter the film industry.His entrepreneurial spirit has shined forth in many aspects including director, executive producer, writer, director of photography, and visual effects artist in his own ventures. Between 2005 and 2009 Stevenson directed and produced three full-length comedies for Saint Xavier High School's Financial Aid Fund with the guidance of Brian Mitchel and Rebecca Reisert.Stevenson graduated from Ball State University after studying Emerging Media in its Telecommunications Department. While there he won "Best Experimental" and "Audience Choice" awards at the 2011 Frog Baby Film Festival, and aided him in receiving the David Letterman Scholarship at Ball State University for his music video In MemorIAM.In 2011 his time and work put forth at Ball State resulted in an opportunity to intern for SONY at the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) convention in Las Vegas to bilingually market its emerging media. Stevenson formed his production company Versa Studios Media LLC afterwards and began contracting fellow filmmakers to work on weddings, business videos, and other client-based gigs in the Indianapolis/Louisville area to fund more elaborate films and music videos. After several short films, Stevenson successfully produced and completed 90-minute syfy feature Cheery Point with the help of the Versa Internship Program he had formed. The film was picked up by ITN Distribution.After months of preparing Cheery Point for distribution, Stevenson co-created series CEREBRAL alongside Andrew Bennett and proceeded to write the script for a new sci-fi/horror feature called "The Three" with he and Adam King.
