Born Kelsey James Kapono Chock in Honolulu, Hawai'i on July 6, 1983. He is of Hawaiian, Portuguese, and Chinese decent and the youngest of five boys(Kyle, Kevin, Korey, Kasey). Kelsey attended the prestigious Kamehameha School's Kapalama Campus and it was there where he fell in love with Theatre and Film production.He got his first television break at seventeen in,"Baywtach Hawai'i" opposite Khal Drogo. That same year he went on to represent the state of Hawai'i at Lincoln Center in New York City for the International Shakespeare Competition. During that time he was invited to Julliard and Tisch to study. He later went to Marymount College in Los Angeles and then came back to his roots in Hawai'i to finish his film studies at The University of Hawai'i Academy for Creative Media. He was cast on various television shows and commercials and began voice over work until he started working in production in the camera department for the hit show, "Lost". He learned every aspect of production and started as a production assistant until he made his way in to the art department and began working as an Art Department Coordinator.He has studied at the world renowned Ivana Chubbuck Studio and has been accepted in to the Groundling's Core track. His goal is to tell stories from the Pacific and share their voice with the world. Kelsey resides in Los Angeles, California.
