Keith Tisdell was born in Denver Colorado. A high school all-star basketball player at Aurora Central High School, he accepted a full basketball scholarship to play at Northwestern State University of Louisiana intent on becoming a child psychologist. His career path changed at the beginning of his senior year when, after attending an open house , he was asked to move to New York City to pursue a modeling career. After receiving his psychology degree and trying his hand in a short stinted run at a professional basketball career, Keith found himself pounding the legendary pavements of the Big Apple with the diligence and relentlessness that marked his basketball career. Never afraid of a challenge and not shake-in by life's curves he was asked to work with the renowned Tupu Kweli Theatre Company in Harlem NY. It was there, with the help of its acclaimed founder, Curtiss I. Cook and fellow company members, that Keith Began to develop his relentless passion for and dedication to acting. You have seen him in countless national commercials, Broadway-bound plays, Network TV shows (OZ, Law and Order SVU, Criminal Minds), independent and studio films (Brown Sugar).
