Keith Chanter got into the acting game quite late in life having spent around 25 years working as a disc-jockey. First on the offshore stations 'Radio Northsea International' and 'Radio Atlantis', then on dry land on 'Radio Orwell' and 'Essex Radio'. He moved into acting in the late 90's when he joined 'The Southend Shakespeare Company'. Keith landed some prized roles including; Thesius and Oberon in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', Warwick in 'Henry VI' and most recently Brutus in 'Julius Ceasar' to which he received many positive reviews in the local newspapers. He has also appeared as John Proctor in 'The Crucible'and Walter Franz in 'The Price'. Keith has also performed in the Bard's works further afield, having twice appeared at the 'Cambridge Shakespeare Festival' with roles that included Claudius/Ghost in 'Hamlet', Exeter/Chorus in 'Henry v' and Gloucester in 'King Lear'. In London, Keith has appeared in three Fringe productions; 'The Roses of Whitechapel', Black Chiffon' and 'A New Way to Pay Old Debts'. Three years ago he started to work in front of the camera to great success and has appeared in a number of short films including television pilots such as 'To The Nabe' and 'Three Lions'. He has also fronted a long-running UPS commercial. Keith also plays former S.A.S. commander Dr. Nigel Carter in the action/thriller 'The Liberator' from 'Improvise Films Ltd'.
