Kathryn Kuhn is an American actress based out of New York City, best known for playing Rachel Young in the indie zombie film Zombie With A Shotgun (directed by Hilton Ariel Ruiz).She was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Ouida and Kirk Kuhn. Kathryn won the title of 'Best Monologues' at the renown Florida State Thespians Conference in 2009, that same year she graduated from the Grammy-nominated High School, Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. She earned her B.F.A in Acting from Conservatory of Theatre Arts at S.U.N.Y., Purchase. After graduation Kathryn moved to New York City to pursue her craft and receive further training in improv at the UCB training center.Kathryn Kuhn has starred in two horror films, 1.) as Rachel Young in Zombie With A Shotgun, based on the critically acclaimed web series of the same name and 2.) as a contorting demon spirit the horror short Candlelit, which won the Roxie Underground Film Festival(2018). She can be found in numerous commercials (ie: Tushy Bidet, WOM mobile, Nikon) as well as shows on Investigation Discovery and CBS.
