When Katherine was little, dreams for her future were split between being a star basketball player in the WNBA and "the voice of the Disney characters".A proud Canadian, Katherine is an actor, producer and most recently a director. She studied at the prestigious George Brown Classical Theatre School and feel in love with the intricacy of film acting soon after graduation.Katherine has appeared in numerous television shows in both Canada and the USA. She has a strong love for comedy performance and studied improvisation at the famous Groundlings Comedy School in California. She is most know for her role as Officer Nicole Haught in The SyFy Network's Wynonna Earp. She plays sorority dictator, Jacqueline Gill, in The Scarehouse, which was released by Universal Pictures across North America in 2015. Following, she starred along side Bollywood superstar Jacqueline Fernandez in the psychological thriller Definition of Fear, helmed by Oscar winning producer Christopher Branch and set for international release in Winter 2017. Katherine has has just completed filming on feature film, Girls Night Out, starring alongside Mackenzie Mauzy (Into The Woods, Bold and the Beautiful). This fall she is thrilled to join the cast of CBC's new half hour comedy, Workin Moms, helmed by showrunner Catherine Reitman.On the other side of the camera Katherine had produced 7 short films. Most notably her comedy short, Issues, was named one of the top three Canadian short films of 2013 by Television critic Richard Crouse. Through her production company, Kit Media, She developed Issues into a television show that was optioned by Edyson Entertainment. She is currently adapting her most recent short, Dissecting Gwen, into a half hour comedy for television.Although acting continues to be her focus and first love, Katherine's newest endeavour is directing, finding it the perfect marriage between her acting roots and business brain. She is currently in post-production with two directing projects Cannonball and Dissecting Gwen.
