Karina was born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. She has an Acting degree from La Casa del Teatro, A.C. She was a member of the Compañía Nacional de Teatro (National Theater Company) and participated as an actress in several Theatrical plays like "Pascua" by August Strindberg, directed by Héctor Mendoza; "Ser es Ser visto" by Botho Strauss, J. W. Goethe, W. Müller, and Friedrich Rückert; directed by Luis De Tavira; and in "Zoot Suit" written and directed by Luis Valdez, artistic director of El Teatro Campesino in California, U.S.A.In 2018, she starred in the play "Juana" based on the book "Madre Juana de los Ángeles" directed by Jesús Coronado, artistic director of the El Rinoceronte Enamorado Company in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.She participated in the Tv-Series like "Blue Demon" produced by Teleset, Sony and Televisa; "Juana Inés" produced by Bravo Films for Canal Once.Nowadays, we can see her performing in the Tv-Series "La Malinche" for Canal Once; Production of Bravo Films; also, at the recently premiered Netflix's Tv-Series "El Club" produced by Argos.
