Karim Diané is a Guinean singer and actor. Karim started his career in 2013 as a contestant on season 3 of The X Factor after receiving qualifying reviews from Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, and Kelly Rowland. After The X Factor USA, Karim gained popularity online under the moniker "Team Karim" by creating videos of himself singing in the shower every week to over a half million subscribers online. He used his online popularity to raise enough money to send $1 million worth of medical supplies to West Africa. His story was covered by AOL in a segment entitled 'Generation Inspiration'. After a series of short films, in early 2017 Karim landed his first recurring role in the 2nd season of a television show entitled 'StartUp' starring Adam Brody, Martin Freeman, and Edi Gathegi.
