Justin was featured in Screen International's Stars Of Tomorrow Lineup in 2008. After gaining a university degree he trained as an actor at LAMDA. He then started directing theatre before joining Working Title Films for four years, cutting his teeth a script editor by collaborating with some of the most respected talent in the world, including Paul Greengrass, Joe Wright, William Nicholson, Emma Thompson, Roger Michell and Edgar Wright. The experience inspired him to produce, write, direct, photograph and co-edit the no-budget short film Timekilling. Encouraged by the reaction to this he left Working Title to direct the science fiction short Life: XP from his own script, and to write full-time.
