Joyce Cyr's personally best loved role has been as a 400 year old witch. She swears that she once asked God how she could be closer to him and he answered "drop dead". Aside from her sense of humor you would never know that her long term background prior to acting has been in business but she says that the seriousness of it all is what drove her to acting and film making. She says, "It's a perfect career for my ADHD tendencies because it is ever changing" knowing full well how much work it involves adding, "I just want to play". After serving as President on her local Chamber of Commerce and after receiving one of the Queens Diamond Jubilee medals she switched her focus from business to the film and television industry. She studied trained and became a member of the Directors Guild of Canada through her work as an Assistant Director on such films as Suicide Squad, Kodachrome and the TV shows like Carter, Cardinal and Reign. She became a member of ACTRA through her acting experiences and began writing scripts. It is her deepest desire leave a legacy of stories in her wake through acting and writing. Show less «
