Jonathan Vanderzon was born in the city of Montreal. His father, alongside his uncles, ran a landscaping and snow removal business of which his mother was the administrator. Raised on the outskirts of Saint-Bruno, a small town just South of the city, he took to the stage at the age of 9 as a means of improving his French.Growing up he always had a knack for storytelling, and in addition to putting up skits and filming short movies, he loved drawing as well as writing. Throughout high school, he balanced his time between competitive swimming, acting and academia, and graduated at the top of his class.During his post-secondary education, he worked as a summer camp counselor, a lifeguard and a swim instructor. It was only after having completed a Health Science degree and half of a Mechanical Engineering Bachelors that he decided to pursue acting full time.Jonathan Vanderzon is an alumni of the TT Two Year Acting Conservatory in NYC.
