Jon Madray (Also known as JonOne) is a Guyanese-American Internet personality. He is an actor most notable for his comedy skits on Instagram and Facebook, as well as an electronic music producer and DJ.A fusion of both dance and Caribbean elements in his tracks has brought something totally new to the table. Through 11 years of creating remixes, mixtapes, and now his own original productions and a weekly podcast series, JonOne has slowly been growing to become a household name in today's generation of producers.In 2011, his tracks were regularly played on NY radio stations and clubs, and over the past few years, he attained bookings at various venues around NYC such as Pacha NYC, Space, the Best Buy Theater, Highline Ballroom, Hudson Terrace, District 36, and System. He has also shared the stage with other acclaimed DJs and artists such as Major Lazer, 3LAU, PartyNextDoor, Dyro, Laidback Luke, and more.In 2012, JonOne released his first productions on Beatport and iTunes and did several oversea shows. Later that year, JonOne completed an official collaboration with Grammy nominated producer, Avicii, on his track "X You" by winning Avicii's remix contest. He also established Sonar Projects as his official management team and performed at the famous Best Buy Theater in Times Square for Bounce Music Festival and in Seaside Heights for Electric Adventure Festival in 2014.3 Years later JonOne has still been pushing his music hard and also started to fulfill his interests in film. Along with his friends and brother, Jon started gaining popularity for his short comedy skits on Instagram and Facebook. Several skits have broke over a million views and his most popular skit racked up 10.6 million views on Facebook. Jon has also collaborated with actresses and artists such as Sonna Rele and Melinda Shankar in these skits and plans to continue film along with his music.In 2018, Jon got casted in his first TV series (Billions) and first movie. (Creed II) He was also featured on award winning chef Marcus Samuelsson's TV series "No Passport Required" where he discussed his Guyanese heritage and foods, and how he incorporates his culture into his music.
