Discovered as a model while a fire fighter in San Francisco, Jon Komp Shin had a career that took off quickly and he became one of the top booked Asian American model/actors in both commercial and print including large global brands such as Dominos, Uber, L'Oreal Paris, Lab Series, Heineken, Samsung, Sony, Toyota and Kia. In Korea he is recognized in TV and print ads as the face of Kosoyen.
