Born overseas, she lived with her maternal grandparents for the first 4 years of her life while her parents received a ticket to come to America and create a new foundation for their lives. At age 4, Rani was brought over, where she grew up in Queens and Upstate, New York. Having already completed her Education to the 1st Grade Level and fluently versed in 7 languages, she was unfortunately forced to restart her Education from Pre-K and completely learn English to a conversational level before entering school. Rani's environments and diverse relationships with people became the portfolio of life experiences that developed her early maturity and molded her as an Organic Artist. She was not only extremely timid before the age of 12, but was labled an "old soul with a wise mind in a creative young body." Rani's self-discovery as an Artist started from the age of 5 singing in the Choir, playing instruments in Music, drawing and painting in Visual Arts, to self-defense in Martial Arts and expressing herself through Dance. The first turning point in Rani's life towards her Artistic Endeavors began on a rainy afternoon at age 12. Having moved into a new town in Suburban, New Jersey from her City Life in New York she was always apprehensive of taking the bus home because she'd fall asleep and forget which stop to get off at. Rani's mom would normally pick her up when requested and one day she forgot completely. With no beepers, cell phones, proper memory of her address in the "Jungle Book of New Jersey" as she'd call it, the only adults in the dark hours of the school was the Director and Producer of the School's FAll Theatre Production. They enforced a strict policy that in order to be permitted to wait in the School's auditorium, till her mom arrived, Rani would have to audition for the School Play. It was during this incident that Rani took the policy very seriously and wanted to excel in her audition purely so that she didn't have to wait outside in the rain completely embarrassed by her situation. Incidentally, she was then selected to play the Lead Role. Upon being selected she committed herself to what she naively viewed as "an after-school activity to escape her domestic life." She felt the circumstance worked out even better because the Afterschool Bus felt like a "Personal Coach Ride" home to the few people it was assigned to. Rani was yet realize that her self-discovery as an Actress and dedication to the entirety of her craft within the Production, would then be staged in front of 1,000 people during a full week of showtime, reward her with numerous standing ovations, 200 roses flying to her feet onstage during her finale bows, along with several bouquets and compliments individually given to her from strangers after the Show- for her "Unforgettable Performance" which "Moved" people is what local papers had published! The following Spring, Rani tapped into every vocal chord she stroke in all her years being in the Choir to audition for the more competitive Musical Theatre Production. Her soulful and melodious clarity in singing, along with being the only one to effortlessly reach an F major scaled piece of music, had the Director and Produce convinced to select Rani once again for not just the Lead Role but Starring. From age 13 on, Rani was selected to play several Lead Roles in the Theatre & Musical Theatre for which she is still known for today by her Character Names.Rani's exposure to all that the Theatre had to offer spellbound a 360-degree impact on her self-esteem and transformation as a person that would follow into her future. This very deserving child was enamored and very humbled by the aesthetic avails that the Theatre offered her. By age 15, Rani furthered her Artistic Studies and Mentorship at the Subanjali School of Performing Arts under Suba Ramesh Parmar, Stars Theatre Academy under Tamara Lee Jacobson and Peach Craft Acting Studios under Kate Kennedy who all heavily motivated her to pursue being an Artist as a Lifelong Career. Rani worked with several world renowned teachers and ultimately became a Scholar not only as an Artist but in the mediums of Yoga, Speech & International Entertainment Business. For the first time in her life, it was at Michael Howard Studios that Director Deborah Kampmeier unleashed Rani's fear to sing as a Commercial Soloist.Nearly months after graduating and only a few years of working Mainstream till date, Rani has traveled from New York to California completing dozens of works in the categories of: Theatre, Film, Commercial, Dance and Modeling in the Entertainment Industry.
