Johnny Tabor was born on April 5, in Lake Oswego, Oregon, USA, as Johnny Oliver Tabor. Spending most of his time as an artist and writer, it wasn't until 2010 that Johnny Tabor stepped into the film scene as a writer and director. His first produced script Folklore, now titled Eaters, was Johnny's writing and directorial debut and the first of many stories from his childhood imagination. Eaters, is a story of five friends stranded in middle of nowhere New Mexico and recounts their chilling fate in the hands of a group of deviant killers.Eaters was released internationally in 2015 by Lionsgate. In a recent interview with Dread Central: "Prepare to meet a new breed of killers," Ruthless Pictures' Writer, Director, Producer, Jesse Baget says of the characters that give the film its name. "When I first saw Eaters, I knew I was looking at the work of a truly original director. His baddies are like nothing I had seen in horror movies before. Original, yes, and disturbing as hell!"Johnny also wrote and directed his second film. Good Night, Sleep Tight, it is projected to be released internationally in 2016.
