Born in Pasadena, California. Johnathan took up acting after landing a small role in his senior year in high school and didn't look back from then. He has been cast in a variety of films, television shows and commercials, as well as have modeled across the globe. His writing interest began while dating a girl in college and her professor liked the ideas Johnathan was giving her. After years of developing his writing skills he penned the award-winning script "Final Decision" which he also produced and starred in. Final Decision was awarded best film at the San Juan Ciniefest in Puerto Rico.Johnathan took a hiatus from the business in 1999 when he married his wife, Lisa. After working in the corporate world for more than 10 years he decided it was time to return to his love of acting and filmmaking and he did so by producing the short film, Dandelion Dreams, which had written many years earlier. This short was well received and became an award-winning film at various film festivals and even provided Johnathan his first acting nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 2014 Red Dirt International Film Festival.Now fully entrenched back into the film industry Johnathan has started two production company's, GEM Filmworks & Socially Aware Productions. Socially Aware Productions is dedicated to producing societal message driven short films and documentaries, while GEM Filmworks concentrates to develop and produce mainstream feature films.Johnathan and Lisa now reside in Indianapolis, IN and he works hard to share his years of entertainment experience to young talent so that they can develop film projects to be produced within the Midwest.
