John Henry is an American film and television actor in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is originally from Beaumont, Texas and has lived and worked in Houston, Texas as a Pediatric Nurse specializing in Neonatology and Pediatric ER at Texas Children's Hospital. While visiting his brother in Baton Rouge, John met Nicholas Cage in a coffee shop where they had an exhilarating conversation about acting and the film industry. That conversation ignited a spark in John to pursue an acting career. In one week, John was called as an extra in the movie "Focus" where he also obtained a featured part next to Will Smith. A month later, John auditioned and landed the role as a grave digger in "American Horror Story." John also was a stand-in and body double for Lance Reddick-- in American Horror Story. While on the set of American Horror Story, John worked with Angela Bassett, Jessica Lange, and also Katy Bates, who not only shared their insights but treated him as an equal which has turned that initial spark into an inferno. John's focus on acting has brought him to study with well-known acting coaches--Veleka Grey and Daniel DuPont. He has a role on the new Sci-Fi series "Star-Crossed" airing on the CW Network. John remains committed and focused on growing as a professional actor and having some fun on the way.
