John B. Lowe has been working in theatre, film and television for over twenty-five years. He has produced, written and directed several short film and video projects including the award-winning short film, Windows Of White. He produced and wrote the shorts Art Ephemeral, and With A B. He is also writer/director for the shorts A Fly Flew Over and W(or)K, which are both now in post-production. He is developing several new projects for Broccolo Creative.He has been seen as an actor in many feature films and TV movies such as The Christmas Heart, Euphoria, Lucky Christmas, Wedding For One, Locked Down, The Don Cherry Story, The Hessen Affair, The Secrets of Comfort House, Fido and The Butterfly Effect, with lead roles in Disney's The Ultimate Christmas Present, and Trapped for the USA Network. He was a regular in the TV Series Cashing In and the CBC TV series Nothing Too Good For A Cowboy. John has made guest appearances on many TV shows such as Less Than Kind, Millennium, X-Files, First Wave, The Immortal, Beggars and Choosers, The New Addams Family, Cold Squad and others.John is the School and Community Programs Director at Prairie Theatre Exchange, a professional theatre company in Winnipeg, Canada. He trains and coaches emerging and established actors, specializing in Acting for The Camera.John recently appeared on stage at Prairie Theatre Exchange in The Secret Mask, The Savannah Disputation and Having Hope At Home. His many other theatre credits include, Here On The Flight Path, For The Pleasure of Seeing Her Again and The Drawer Boy for Sunshine Theatre, An Inspector Calls for The Chemainus Theatre Festival, Measure For Measure at the Citadel Theatre and appearances in Dear Santa and Over The River and Through The Woods for Western Canada Theatre. John has also produced and directed many independent theatre projects including the improvised soap-opera, Die Nasty, and the award-winning, Greater Tuna and Giant Ants.
