Originally from Gary, IN. Joel has been in the arts since 1993. Performing professionally before graduating from Emerson School for the Visual and Performing Arts in 2000. Furthering his education of acting at the University of Northern Iowa, where as a freshman, he was the first African American in the schools history, to have a lead role in a main stage production. Graduating in 2005 with a degree in Theater Performance, he moved to Atlanta to peruse a career in entertainment, with acting as his focus. He's been involved in numerous stage productions, TV shows, and films in front of and behind the camera.
