Joe was born and raised on the Isle of Wight. After graduating from University he took his one-man show 'Bane', to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, winning a sweep of awards. "Excellent" - The Times, "Brilliant" - The Guardian, "Rollicking" - The Evening Standard. "A virtuoso performance" - The Stage. The shows were promoted by Live Nation for the Melbourne Comedy Festival in 13' & 14'. Joe wrote and performed three more shows in the Bane series and toured them across the globe, to the US, Australia, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Italy and Brazil, where they have been syndicated into Portuguese (Billdog) for Brazilian actor Gustavo Rodriguez.In 2017 Joe co-wrote psychological thriller, 'Keepers' with Celyn Jones (Submergence, Set Fire to the Stars) to be directed by Kristoffer Nyholm (The Killing, Taboo), starring Peter Mullan and Gerard Butler. Joe co-wrote his second feature, crime caper 'Green' with Bane collaborator Ben Roe, to be directed by Ash Brannon (Toy Story 2, Surfs Up). Joe's third feature film begins scripting in Feb 2018. Joe is currently writing a US TV series, dealing with police CIs in Florida.
