Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, this triple threat performer has quickly established herself as a fiercely versatile powerhouse, and a talented artist who can transition seamlessly between film, television, theatre, and voice-over.A dual citizen of Canada and the United States, Jocelyn moved to Vancouver upon receiving a President's Entrance Scholarship to study performing arts. She auditioned, and was accepted to train in the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting program at the University of British Columbia. While still attending university, Jocelyn was cast as the lead in a feature film, and was also a Top 10 Finalist on the CBC show Triple Sensation, winning an award for Most Outstanding Actress. She graduated from the prestigious U.B.C. Conservatory Program with honors, and was immediately accepted into both the American Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in the One Year Masters Classical Acting Program, the latter of which she trained at for a short part of 2010.In addition to acting, Jocelyn is a classically trained vocalist, pianist, and flutist, and has trained in ballet, jazz, and tap. Her rigorous acting training, combined with her impressive vocal talents and versatility, have allowed her to be successful in many different mediums, winning her numerous awards, and landing her lead roles in almost every one of the more than 30 theatre, musical theatre, and film productions she has been involved in.While continuing to work steadily as an actor, Jocelyn also believes that constant and rigorous training is critical to the development of her craft. She trains regularly in Vancouver, and has taken workshops with award winning casting directors, producers, and creatives from both Broadway, and Film and Television. When not on stage or in front of a camera herself, Jocelyn teaches performing arts to children ages 3 - 18.
