Jimmy Brooks was born on June 26, 1986 in Monrovia, Liberia, the younger of two siblings (Jimmy and Jimmette); His farther worked as a Civil Engineer and his mother worked as a Banker. Up until the age of 13, they lived in West Africa between Liberia and Cote D'Ivoire. After receiving a BFA in Drama and a BA in Mathematics, from Washington University in St. Louis, Brooks moved to NYC where he's worked on Blue Bloods, a slew of short and feature films and shows in the NYC theatre scene. Jimmy received numerous accolades for his portrayal of Thomas the troubled half of a fraternal pair in the recent short "Curveball", which screened to rave reviews at multiple film festivals across the country. Jimmy received a Best Support actor award at the AC Cinefest for his role in the film.
