Actor and Producer born in Sydney, Australia. Jim Robison has been working in the film and TV industry for over ten years both behind and in front of the camera and has worked on over one hundred feature films, short films, commercials, music videos, TV pilots, web-series and TV series. After completing his military service in the Australian Army, Jim pursued his creative passion and after returning from the UK & Sweden Jim first started his film career on the short Tropfest film "Rob God" (2005). Since then he has worked on numerous popular Australian TV Series such as "Home and Away", "The Killing Field" (Network 7), "Old School" (ABC/Matchbox Pictures) and studio films such as "The Great Gatsby", "Mad Max:Fury Road" and the highly anticipated Mel Gibson's "Hacksaw Ridge". Returning from the Cannes Film Festival in 2015, Jim joined Bronte Pictures and is set to produce several feature films slated for production in 2017. Jim recently produced the highly anticipated Australian supernatural thriller "Scarlett" in which he also plays the character of "Detective Robert Long". As an actor Jim first landed small roles on Australian and US TV Series (Deadly Women) and recently small roles on various feature films including the highly anticipated - Mel Gibson's - "Hacksaw Ridge". Jim has also various stage and theatre credits including R.C Sheriffs - "The Journey's End" at the Seymour Centre on Broadway. Jim has trained at various schools both in Sydney Australia and Los Angeles including Kevin Jackson (NIDA), Ivana Chubbuck (workshops), Les Chantery, Marin Mimica and Sandra Lee Paterson in her acting school at Fox Studios.
