Jessica grew up in sunny Seminole, Florida, where she got her very first official role in a theatre during summer camp, at 8-years-old, playing Audrey in "Little Shop of Horrors" at Suncoast Children's Theatre. She told her mother, "I want to do this for the rest of my life." She continued acting and as she grew older she acted in plays regionally and took on various roles in feature films. At 18, she was hungry for an education so she picked up and moved to New York City to attend the Jesuit college of Fordham University, Lincoln Center. Through the cross pollination of different theatrical mediums in the program at Fordham, she discovered her love for directing and completed the directing and acting tracks before graduating with her B.A. in Theatre. Jessica worked in the theatre in New York and regionally for several years after college and now lives in Los Angeles developing ways to tell stories through visual media. While building her acting career she also directs, writes, and produces film and internet content.
